Hollaback! - a now international movement to end street harassment powered by local activists in cities around the world- launched an app in 2010 to combat street harassment, enabling users to share stories and access resources from their iPhone or Android phone. Three days ago on November 1st, the winners of the White House ‘Apps Against Abuse’ technology challenge were announced, with applications aimed at addressing dating and relationship violence. The two winning apps, “Circle of 6” and “On Watch,” were selected from a pool of over 30 prototypes submitted to Challenge.gov. Want to be the first to download these new apps?
